Running Buffalo Log Cabin, a modern three bedroom vacation log cabin nestled between a beautiful wildflower meadow (where the buffalo used to roam) and the Hoosier National Forest, complete with hiking trail, two fishing ponds, hot tub and all the best. Located in the heart of southern Brown County, Indiana, this rustic yet luxurious Appalachian-style 2 story log cabin offers guests plenty of privacy and plenty to do… a wonderful place for a family vacation or romantic weekend getaway.

The cabin has a covered front and back porch, equipped with old fashioned rocking chairs and a porch swing. The front porch faces directly into the Hoosier National Forest (a cozy place to hang out on a rainy day). The back porch offers a serene view of one pond, the spa and nature.

Inside the cabin you’ll find a living room with a Smart TV. The living room has a vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams and a view of the loft.

infomationThe loft is a great place to hang out and have fun shooting pool on the 8 foot slate table. Also, there is an old wooden chest in the loft that contains a variety of board games, cards, puzzles and poker chips.

The kitchen is fully equipped with silverware, glasses, cookware, fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, and coffee pot to make that perfect warm drink to enjoy while sitting on either porch enjoying a peaceful Brown County morning.

cabin-informationThe master bedroom is tastefully romantic with a king sized bed. Upstairs there is second bedroom with a queen sized bed and third bedroom with two twin beds. And of course, all bedding blankets, pillows, and towels are provided.

The cabin is equipped with a picnic table, patio chairs, BBQ grill, and a large 6 person hot tub. It’s a wonderful place for relaxing after a full day of exploring Brown County Indiana.

Cabin has YouTube TV. You may log into other streaming services while at the cabin, but make sure to log out when you check out.

Cabin has two restrooms. The second floor restroom is a half-bath (sink and toilet only). The first floor restroom offers a shower stall with a “rain” shower-head, sink vanity and private commode. Note: the cabin does not have a bath tub.

Cabin is located within riding distance to the Nebo Ridge Trail. Mountain biking and horseback riding allowed.
